The pumping station

The building of the pumping station was erected in 1894. It consists of only four rooms arranged according to an L-shaped ground plan. The walls are covered with colourful bricks of a lighter tone, and the windows were additionally emphasized with fan-shaped brick lintels. The Waste Incineration Plant

The Waste Incineration Plant was built and commissioned in 1905. The project was made by the specialized Viennese company Alphons Custodis and, subsequently, the design was partially altered by architect Giovanni Randich. The power plant complex

The original plan was to build a hydro-thermal power plant on Grohovo. The drafts were made by Pal Holfeld in 1903.
